Local Blackpool charity providing support to vulnerable 16 – 25 year olds

Community work

In aid of World Food Day this year, we held a collection for the amazing local charity, Streetlife, which is one of the many charities we support.

We collected a variety of different foods and toiletries, which we delivered to the charity directly. If you can, Streetlife would really appreciate any donation, however big or small. Items they are looking for consist of, juice, coffee, water, tinned meat/fish, shampoo/conditioner, razors, deodorant, shaving foam, sanitary products and soap.

Established in 1982, Streetlife is a youth work charity providing emergency shelter and support to vulnerable and homeless young people aged 16-25 in Blackpool and surrounding areas. Streetlife charity collection

Streetlife’s aim is to enable and empower young people to make informed choices about issues affecting their lives. They provide support from their day centre, which is located on 48 Buchanan Street, Blackpool, and their night shelter, which serves as emergency accommodation for those who need it most, and is located at St John’s Walk, Church Street, Blackpool.

300 young people a year visit their day centre for support on issues including housing, finances and employment, 150 people access their night shelter, which provides safe accommodation for up to 8 young people, and 200 young people discover Streetlife’s services for the first time every year.
