RTC Recognised at the PCA Conference with Industry Awards and National Thought Leadership Roles

RTC at the Property Care Association Conference

RTC was proud to attend the recent Property Care Association (PCA) Conference, one of the most significant events in the property care and built environment calendar. The conference brought together leading professionals, regulators, and specialists from across the sector to discuss emerging challenges, regulatory change, and best practice.

This year’s event was particularly meaningful for RTC, as we were honoured to receive two industry awards in recognition of our work, standards, and ongoing commitment to excellence. These awards reflect not only the quality of our technical expertise, but also the professionalism and values that underpin everything we do as a business.

Industry Recognition Through PCA Awards

Receiving two awards at a national industry conference is an important milestone for RTC. It reinforces our position as a trusted specialist within the sector and recognises the consistent quality, compliance, and care we deliver across our services.

The awards also acknowledge the expertise of our wider team, whose knowledge and commitment ensure that high standards are maintained on every project and at every stage of delivery.

Leadership and Contribution to the Conference Programme

In addition to the awards, our Co-Founder and Partner, Andrew Bradshaw, was invited to play a key role in the PCA Conference programme, further underlining RTC’s standing within the industry.

Chairing the Retrofit Conference Session

Andrew was asked to chair a dedicated conference session focused on Retrofit, a critical and rapidly evolving area within the built environment. The session explored best practice, technical challenges, and the future direction of retrofit in the context of sustainability, housing quality, and regulatory compliance.

As session chair, Andrew facilitated discussion between industry experts, ensuring that practical, experience-led insight remained at the centre of the conversation and that key issues affecting the sector were openly addressed.

Expert Panel Debate on Awaab’s Law

Andrew was also invited to join the expert debate panel on Awaab’s Law, a subject of increasing importance across the housing and property sectors. The panel discussion focused on the practical implementation of the legislation, its impact on landlords, managing agents, and contractors, and the wider implications for accountability and standards of care.

Andrew contributed RTC’s perspective on achieving compliance while maintaining technical integrity, safeguarding residents, and delivering long-term improvements in building performance and occupant wellbeing.

Demonstrating Thought Leadership and Professional Standing

Being invited to chair a conference session and contribute to a national expert panel reflects Andrew’s depth of knowledge and experience, as well as RTC’s credibility and reputation within the sector. It demonstrates the confidence placed in our team by industry bodies and peers alike.

At RTC, we believe that professionalism extends beyond project delivery. We are committed to actively contributing to industry-wide conversations that help shape policy, raise standards, and promote best practice across the built environment.

Looking Ahead

We are proud to see our team recognised at a national level and to be contributing meaningfully to discussions that influence the future of the industry. Our involvement at the PCA Conference reinforces our commitment to leadership, expertise, and continuous improvement in everything we do.
