There has been an administration change of our insurance backed guarantee scheme, which has started to move from GPI/Accelerant Insurance UK Limited to QANW.
GPI was bought by the Accelerant Group last year, which came with a name change from Guarantee Protection Insurance Limited to Accelerant Insurance UK Limited, although, they of course remain the same company/legal entity that they have always been.
Delivering quality protection insurance for home improvement investments since 1994, Quality Assured National Warranties is the first choice for contractors looking for genuine insurance protection for their customers.

As construction care members, we offer robust insurance backed guarantee policies for the home improvement and construction work we do, including damp proofing, timber treatment, wall ties, lateral restraints and structural waterproofing works.
Insurance backed guarantees offer valuable consumer protection for homeowners and their home improvement investments. By choosing a contractor who offers insurance backed guarantees for the work they carry out on a property, consumers can have confidence that they are trustworthy, reliable and will do a great job.
Workmanship guarantees set out the contractor’s obligation to remedy any defects in installations they have fitted, but this doesn’t mean that they will always be around to carry out the amends for you. Installation companies can ‘cease to trade’ for many reasons, including retirement, illness or a new career choice.
The purpose of an insurance backed guarantee is to honour the terms of the installing contractor’s own guarantee, where unfortunately the installing contractor has ceased to trade and is, therefore, unable to satisfy remedial claims made against their workmanship guarantee.
If a homeowner finds themselves in a situation where they have a defect in their installation and their installing contractor has ceased to trade, they can claim against the insurance backed guarantee and have the issue rectified, in some cases, free of charge.
