We are thrilled to announce that we have recently been awarded the Outstanding Customer Service Award, by the industry’s governing body, The PCA.
RTC secured the Outstanding Customer Service accolade, sponsored by Edincare pumps, for what judges described as a transparent and well-documented process to ensure consistently great outcomes for clients.
This is the second time that RTC has been winners in this category, having picked up the prestigious award, which is assessed by a panel of judges, the year previous.
RTC were presented with this award at the 2023 PCA Best Practice Awards, held at The Slate, University of Warwick.
Owner and surveyor at RTC, Andrew Bradshaw, said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the PCA Outstanding Customer Service Award, and to win it for the second-year running is quite remarkable.
Our commitment to customer care and providing an outstanding customer journey for our customers is extremely important to us and is a massive team effort.
It would not be possible without the hard work, commitment and professionalism of all the team here at RTC.
They should all be very proud”.
PCA Best Practice Awards
RTC entered the PCA Best Practice Awards because the Property Care Association is the trade association representing property specialists who can be trusted to resolve problems affecting your building.
Through entering these prestigious awards, we have achieved Contractor of the Year 2020, Student of the Year 2020, Contractor of the Year 2022, Outstanding Customer Service 2022 and now Outstanding Customer Service 2023.
Steve Hodgson, Chief Executive of the PCA, said: “Our members tackle a range of issues that can affect people’s homes and businesses, buildings of national importance, or major infrastructure.
“Their talent and skills are highly valued, and our 2023 Best Practice Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the expertise and experience of our members.
“I congratulate RTC on the professionalism and commitment to quality service that is recognised with this award.”

PCA members include contractors, independent and freelance surveyors, consultants and manufacturers. They have members across the the UK so, wherever you are, you can be sure that there will be a PCA member close by, with the knowledge and expertise you need.
PCA promotes excellence through:
Ensuring that members adhere to strict membership criteria. The provision of a comprehensive range of training courses specifically designed to focus on the specialist areas of work that PCA members undertake. The courses lead on to qualifications.
Ongoing biennial audits of contractor member companies, ensuring that all aspects of their businesses operate to the highest standards. This involves checking company systems and procedures, health & safety practices and staff development and training programmes.
Increasing standards to improve consumer confidence. As a founder member of TrustMark, PCA members are validated through this government backed scheme which declares that all contractors working in the domestic environment are trustworthy and competent.
Supporting opportunities for continuing professional development (CPD) to enable members to maintain and develop their knowledge and skills in waterproofing, damp control and timber treatment.
