Mould treatments at Astley View Care Home
RTC were instructed by Astley View Care Home to complete a mould cleaning treatment, as during construction of the care home, there were issues with the roof, enabling water ingress that had gone unnoticed.
During the plastering process, severe amounts of mould had been spotted that spread throughout the building, presenting on the walls and ceiling.
On completion of the mould clean treatment, we utilized data loggers as a monitoring approach to gain a better understanding of how the building manages the level of internal moisture and humidity.
