Our core business is, basement waterproofing, damp proofing and specialist building preservation. We have been established for over 30 years and our aim is to provide an honest, reliable and technically advanced solution for our clients. Following another record year of growth at RTC, we are looking to expand our highly professional team. We require an ambitious, experienced, Multi-Skilled Technician to join our team as a Multi-Skilled Waterproofing/Building Preservation Technician.

As a Multi-Skilled Waterproofing/Building Preservation Technician, you will need/be:

  • A practical working knowledge of all general building trades
  • Basic plastering and good joinery skills
  • A current CSCS card would be an advantage (but not essential as this can be obtained)
  • Full driving license
  • Ability to work towards a deadline using your own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Conscientious and tidy
  • A good attention to detail is essential
  • Experience in waterproofing/building preservation is not essential, as training will be given, but would be an advantage

As a Multi-Skilled Waterproofing/Building Preservation Technician, your role will include:

  • Basement and structural waterproofing on existing and new-build projects
  • Application of internal and external waterproofing and drainage systems
  • Application of specialist waterproofing products
  • Fit studding, plasterboard and metal lath systems
  • Safely remove plaster
  • Install damp proof courses
  • Dry rot and woodworm treatments
